JS Careers are pleased to have been instructed on an exciting opportunity for an Associate to join an elite US law firm based in London, with a market-leading Private Equity and M&A offering.
This firm is seeking an ambitious and talented corporate lawyer to join their high-performing London team advising private equity sponsors, institutional investors and corporate clients on a broad range of sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions.
The Role
In this role, the successful candidate can expect to work across a variety of complex matters, including:
- Private equity acquisitions, investments and exits;
- Private M&A transactions and public takeovers;
- Carve-out transactions and consortium acquisitions;
- Growth capital investments, strategic minority investments and hybrid investment structures; and
- Corporate restructures, governance and general corporate advisory matters.

About You
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in corporate law, ideally from a top-tier UK, US, Australian or NZ law firm;
- Excellent academics;
- Strong private equity experience, including advising sponsors, investors or portfolio companies as well as solid M&A experience across a range of complex transactions;
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills; and
- A commercial mindset and a collaborative approach to client service.
