We're seeking a motivated graduate Software Engineer to join our team
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to build a strong foundation in software engineering while working on meaningful projects that connect people worldwide.
As an Associate Software Engineer at Alianza, you'll work alongside experienced engineers who are passionate about mentorship and knowledge sharing, providing you with a learning path that’s customised to your needs.
We're using AI to move faster and build better, with no room for compromise in standards for quality and availability. You'll be expected to use AI-assisted tools as part of how you work and to innovate in how you do the job, as well as what you deliver.
You'll contribute to real products while developing your technical skills in a supportive, collaborative environment and a highly challenging domain: building solutions that serve millions of users whilst delivering >99.999% availability.
What You'll Do
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and debug high-quality code across our diverse tech stack
- Solve problems in languages suited to different challenges – from systems programming (including Rust, C & C++) to application development (including Java & JavaScript) and scripting and automation (including Python)
- Work with the latest AI models to dramatically boost what you can achieve
- Collaborate with senior engineers to accelerate your learning
- Test software rigorously against requirements and acceptance criteria
- Take ownership of increasingly complex tasks with appropriate support

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM field
We don't require prior software engineering experience – if you're a strong problem solver, we'll help you develop into a great engineer regardless of your starting point. If you do have experience, that will help you to get started faster.
