Senior Residential Conveyancer (5+ PQE)
Manchester City Centre - Hybrid Working
Starting salary at £55,000 + Bonus
Be part of an award-winning, people-focused firm with a genuinely balanced workload model
Join an established firm, with a new, still-growing office
Day-one support already in place
Long-term progression potential up to partnership
Flexible, non-micromanaged working culture
Opportunity to shape and grow a senior presence in a thriving new office
The Role
This is a senior individual contributor role rather than a formal management position. You'll act as the go-to senior figure for the team, supervising and supporting juniors when needed, but there's no expectation to run the office or manage people formally. Business development and networking are welcomed but genuinely optional as there is a lot of work coming in naturally from the other departments. The firm is happy for the right person to focus purely on fee-earning if that's their preference.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
