Johnsons Law Group is a well-established NSW firm with a strong reputation across commercial, property and family law. As our family law practice continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Family Lawyer to join our team and play a key role in its next stage of development.
About the role
You will manage your own file load across the full spectrum of family law matters, including parenting and property disputes, financial agreements, and dispute resolution. You will appear in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, advise clients through complex and sensitive matters, and contribute to the ongoing growth of the practice.

About you
We are looking for a lawyer who brings:
- Admission as a solicitor in NSW with a current practising certificate
- At least 3 to 5 years post-admission experience in family law (more senior candidates encouraged to apply)
- A sound working knowledge of the Family Law Act and current court procedures
- The ability to run matters independently while working collaboratively within a team
- Strong drafting, negotiation and client care skills
- A genuine commitment to building long-term client relationships
