Role Description
This full-time, on-site Associate Solicitor role is based in Poole and involves providing high-quality legal advice and representation to a diverse client base. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a caseload, drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, and preparing correspondence and reports. The Associate Solicitor will meet and advise clients, negotiate with counterparties, and liaise with courts, regulatory bodies, and other professionals as required. The role involves working collaboratively with colleagues across practice areas, contributing to business development activities, and maintaining accurate file management and compliance with regulatory and firm standards. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver clear, client-focused solutions and uphold the firm’s service and professional ethics.

- Strong foundation in Law, with qualification as a Solicitor in England and Wales and experience managing client matters independently.
- Demonstrated competence in Conveyancing and Commercial Real Estate, including drafting, reviewing, and completing property transactions.
- Practical experience in Labor and Employment Law, advising on HR issues, workplace disputes, and employment documentation.
- Knowledge of Family Law, including complex family disputes, divorce, children matters, and related negotiations or mediation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely.
- Strong client care skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships.
- Effective time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail, with experience handling multiple files and deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, contribute to business development, and use relevant legal and case management IT systems.
