The Role

This is an associate-level position within the Investment Services team at a global hedge fund, based in London (Riverbank House). The team supports the firm's client base globally, covering client inquiries, marketing materials, DDQs/RFPs, and client reporting. This role focuses specifically on writing and producing marketing and questionnaire material for the firm's Solutions area, working closely with portfolio management and sales personnel in London and New York.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write, develop, and deliver marketing collateral for the Solutions area, drawing on proximity to the Solutions teams in London and New York.
  • Work with Sales, Portfolio Management, and internal stakeholders to produce bespoke RFP and DDQ content and presentations.
  • Ensure fund research, analysis, and messaging are incorporated into materials on a regular basis.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with senior sales staff, portfolio managers, and key stakeholders.
  • Edit, produce, and update investor communications on specific market events.
  • Identify and initiate projects where the Investment Services team can add value for portfolio managers, the sales force, and the wider business.
  • Translate complex investment ideas and data into clear, logical, and visually engaging formats.

Skills & Experience

  • Degree-level education in a relevant discipline required.
  • A financial qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • At least two years of experience in investment management or the hedge fund industry.
  • Solid understanding of the financial landscape within investment management or hedge funds.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with institutional client expectations and requirements.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with a diverse set of internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working both as part of a team and independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Planner.
