About the Opportunity

My client is an innovative consulting engineering firm with a global presence and a focus on delivering impactful engineering solutions across various sectors. Their London office is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join their Construction Engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Discipline Leads to support team growth and work alongside structural, civil, infrastructure, and construction engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop effective design solutions for diverse scenarios and sectors.
  • Independently draft reports, specifications, and conduct site investigations.
  • Prepare proposals with a keen eye on commercial aspects.
  • Manage projects from inception, including budgeting and resourcing.
  • Engage confidently with external partners and clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in engineering consultancy or the construction industry, with a focus on geotechnical engineering or related fields.
  • MEng qualifications or higher.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent.
  • Proficient understanding of relevant engineering standards and guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Established connections within the construction engineering industry and ideally possess an existing client network.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Commercial project management skills with a focus on delivering successful outcomes.
  • Experience across various project design stages.
