🔹 Principal / Associate Structural Engineer
📍 Birmingham
£60,000–£70,000 DOE + bonus + extensive benefits package.
An established and growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Principal / Associate Structural Engineer to join its Birmingham team. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior structural engineer looking to take on greater technical, project and team responsibility, with a clear opportunity to progress towards Director level.
The role will involve:
- Leading structural projects and taking technical ownership of designs, calculations and reports
- Managing project delivery, resources, fees and client relationships
- Reviewing and coordinating work produced by others
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to the wider team
- Attending site visits and working closely with clients and third parties
- Supporting fee proposals, business development and the continued growth of the Birmingham team

We're looking for:
- Recent structural consultancy experience within the Midlands
- Chartered or close to chartered, with MICE or MIStructE
- Strong technical and project management capability
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Someone keen to contribute to both the technical delivery and growth of a team
