Join Close Brothers Talent Acquisition team where you will oversee all recruitment activity allocated by the Talent Business Partner, ensuring that the business has access to diverse and high calibre talent.

As directed by the TABP, the role holder will partner with hiring managers to ensure delivery of a proactive, robust and inclusive hiring process in line with our competency frameworks to ensure we attract and recruit the ‘best’ talent. The role has a key focus on pipelining direct talent, driving referrals and promoting internal mobility to deliver a cost effective and ‘value of hire’ service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Partnering (as directed by TABP):

  • Provide a seamless, service driven experience for hiring managers where quality of hire, time to hire and cost are prioritised.
  • Provide guidance and advise on job descriptions (in line with our frameworks) to ensure ‘check and challenge’ of key requirements for the role and inclusive language
  • Support the TABP in undertake direct talent mapping as part of hiring approach to identify key talent in the market
  • Support hiring managers to ensure a best practice approach is adopted on the vacancy approval process, including governance and systems management (ATS, People@Close)
  • Provide advice to stakeholders on hiring ‘best practice’ and sourcing options
  • Partner and advise hiring managers on adoption of assessment tools in line with our competency frameworks
  • Partner with the business/function to ensure consistent and inclusive ‘end to end’ hiring practices
  • Ensure identification and hiring of talent which supports required future skills

Candidate Attraction and Resourcing

  • Manage the full recruitment process – from advertising vacancies on appropriate job boards, screening candidates, through to interview, candidate feedback and offer negotiation
  • Develop a continual pipeline of candidates through direct channels, internet sourcing, agencies and networking
  • Pre-qualify potential candidates to determine their qualifications through profiling, psychometric assessments and behavioural based interviewing
  • Support the hiring process for other Talent programmes (where required) such as our internships and entry level programmes
  • Ensure constructive feedback is given on all CVs and interviews, linking in with the HRBP to ensure successful candidates are provided feedback to feed into their development plans

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • Experience in recruitment (in-house or agency)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with an ability to influence at all levels
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Experience of assessing candidate capability/suitability utilising various tools
  • Ability to source high quality candidates directly
  • Familiarity with current sourcing techniques and ability to remain current with developing techniques
  • Ability to manage multiple searches with varying priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage work requests working to tight timescales whilst maintaining quality
  • Ability to deliver a recruitment service in line with the agreed service levels
  • Experience of tracking recruitment metrics and driving improvements off insight
