Technology and data play a vital role in how London & Partners delivers impact for the capital. From improving internal processes to supporting better decision-making, our systems need to be reliable, secure and easy for colleagues to use.
We are looking for an Associate Technical Business Analyst to help us strengthen the way technology, data and knowledge management support the organisation.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, processes and systems. You will help teams understand their requirements, translate business needs into clear technical specifications, support testing, and ensure new or improved solutions are delivered effectively.
Sitting within the Technology and Data Team, you will work closely with stakeholders across London & Partners to understand how teams operate and where technology can improve the way we work. You will play a key role in supporting system improvements, User Acceptance Testing, API testing, documentation and data quality.
This role would suit someone who is collaborative, curious and detail-focused, with an interest in business analysis, digital transformation and technology-enabled change.
Key Responsibilities
Business analysis and requirements gathering
In this role, you will:
- Engage with stakeholders across London & Partners to understand key business processes, challenges and opportunities.
- Support teams in identifying how technology can be used more effectively.
- Assist in gathering, documenting and validating business requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear technical specifications that support system and application improvements.
- Develop process maps, user stories and documentation to support technology and process change.
- Help ensure proposed solutions align with London & Partners’ strategic objectives and technology roadmap.
Testing and solution validation
You will also:
- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing, working with stakeholders to confirm that solutions meet business requirements.
- Develop test scenarios and support the validation of system changes.
- Ensure defects identified during testing are clearly documented, tracked and addressed before deployment.
- Assist in the testing of APIs by defining test scenarios and validating data exchanges between systems.
- Use tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira or similar platforms to support testing and issue management.
- Help ensure solutions are reliable, secure and fit for purpose before they are released.

Systems, data and documentation
You will:
- Support the maintenance of data integrity and security across systems and applications.
- Follow relevant policies and procedures to help ensure systems are managed safely and effectively.
- Produce clear, high-quality documentation that supports system and process improvements.
- Support colleagues across Technology and Digital teams during periods of high demand.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by helping teams identify better ways to use technology, data and digital tools.
- Support the wider project lifecycle to ensure business requirements are successfully delivered.
Stakeholder engagement and collaboration
You will:
- Build trusted relationships with business users at all levels.
- Manage expectations by communicating clearly and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Translate technical concepts into simple, accessible language for non-technical audiences.
- Work collaboratively across teams and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
- Bring a positive, service-focused approach to stakeholder engagement.
- Adapt effectively to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
We are looking for someone with a collaborative mindset, strong attention to detail and an interest in helping organisations improve through technology.
The successful candidate will bring:
- Experience in process mapping, business requirements gathering and developing user stories.
- The ability to produce clear, accurate and useful documentation.
- Knowledge of supporting User Acceptance Testing and validating solutions using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira or similar test management tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft environments, including SharePoint, Teams and Office 365.
- An understanding of data governance principles.
- Some understanding of system integration tools and how data moves between systems.
- Basic exposure to data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
- Basic exposure to SQL and/or SOQL.
- An understanding of both Waterfall and Agile project environments.
- Confidence communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience building trusted relationships and managing expectations with business users.
- The ability to adapt to shifting priorities and changing business needs.
- A proactive and helpful approach to supporting colleagues and contributing to team delivery.
