Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for an Associate Technical Sales Consultant to join our Global Solutions Consulting team in Europe.
This role is ideal for a technically minded professional with an interest in payments, technology, and customer engagement. Working alongside Sales, Technical Sales Consultants, Solution Engineers, and Product teams, you will help customers and partners evaluate and implement payment solutions while building expertise across APIs, integrations, and the wider payments ecosystem.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop a career in technical pre-sales, solution consulting, and payment technology.
Core Responsibilities
- Support sales opportunities by providing technical and product expertise throughout the customer and partner lifecycle.
- Participate in customer and partner discussions to understand business and technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution overviews.
- Support solution discovery, onboarding activities, integration planning, and technical assessments.
- Contribute to RFPs, RFIs, customer questionnaires, and technical documentation.
- Develop knowledge of payment products, APIs, gateway solutions, and integration methods.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and Certification teams to resolve customer and partner enquiries.
- Continuously build expertise in payment technologies, transaction flows, security principles, and industry best practices.

What We're Looking For
Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in payments, fintech, software, technology, customer-facing technical support, consulting, implementation, or a related field.
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work effectively across multiple stakeholders.
Preferred
- Knowledge of REST APIs, web services, or software integrations.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Familiarity with payment technologies, e-commerce platforms, POS solutions, or fintech products.
- Exposure to technical consulting, pre-sales, or customer-facing technical engagements.
