The successful candidate will play an integral role in the execution of mergers & acquisitions, strategic advisory and capital raising transactions across a broad range of technology sectors, including software, data & analytics, fintech, vertical software, industrial technology and tech-enabled services.

As part of a growing global technology franchise, the Associate will work closely with senior bankers and clients on live transactions while gaining significant exposure to founder-led businesses, private equity investors and publicly listed technology companies. Key Responsibilities

  • Transaction Execution
    • Manage day-to-day execution workstreams across live M&A and strategic advisory mandates.
    • Build and review complex financial models, including DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions, merger models and LBO analyses.
    • Coordinate due diligence processes and manage interactions with clients, investors, legal advisers, accountants and other stakeholders.
    • Support the preparation of marketing materials, process documentation and transaction deliverables.
    • Assist in transaction negotiations, valuation discussions and deal structuring analysis.
  • Client Coverage & Business Development
    • Prepare pitch books, strategic presentations and market updates for existing and prospective clients.

    • Identify sector trends, strategic opportunities and potential acquisition targets.
    • Support senior bankers in developing client relationships and new business opportunities.
  • Leadership & Project Management
    • Manage analysts across multiple workstreams and ensure deliverables are completed to a high standard.
    • Review financial models, presentations and analyses prepared by junior team members.
    • Maintain project timelines across multiple concurrent transactions.
    • Contribute to training, coaching and development of analysts within the team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
