Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) Hiring an Associate Territory Manager; Field Based North
Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) are looking for an Associate Territory Manager; Field Based North to join the team in an entry-level sales position.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is keen to work in Sales, working with the highly innovative Freestyle Libre products.
Training provided
For this role, you will need to be located in Sheffield, Bradford, Leeds, or York.
What You’ll Do
- Promotion of ADC Products and Services: You will be accountable for the promotion of ADC products (Freestyle Libre, Digital Ecosystem, and BGM) plus services to CCG/Health Board/Trusts, focusing on diabetes centers.
- Planning and Delivering: The associate territory manager will be responsible for planning and delivering and identifying opportunities within local target accounts to develop ADC business.
- Key Stakeholders and Influencer Maps: Identifying key stakeholders within target accounts and developing comprehensive stakeholder and influencer maps within each account plan.
- Customer Satisfaction: Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring the successful implementation of ADC solutions and services.
- Resource Optimization: Optimize the use of resources and “sampling/patient support” in target accounts.
- Patient Upgrading: Upgrading patients onto the FreeStyle Libre Flash Glucose Monitoring system and Libreview and ensuring the collation of all patient information, ensuring effective retention of patients.
- Training and Education: Training & educating physicians, nurses, and patients in the use of FreeStyle Libre and linked products and embedding Libre, AGP, and Libreview as the new standard of care for routine clinical practice.
- Strategic Customer Engagement: To engage all strategic customers and key influencers identified within the stakeholder map, and working in conjunction with the Regional Manager and Market Access Specialist, ensure the effective positioning of ADC products and services to deliver sustainable market share growth.
- Account Management: Working effectively to manage own responsibilities as a member of the account team, jointly working on target accounts to optimize the implementation and pull-through of formularies to ensure strong and sustained sales growth across the portfolio.
- Regional Meetings and Conferences: Attending and participating in regional meetings, conferences, and account planning meetings, and executing and translating national strategy into effective local account management.
- Sales Data Interpretation: Interpreting sales data to maximize effectiveness (e.g., sales vs. competitor sales, market share, etc.) and to ensure that account potential is fully realized.
- Administrative Work: Carrying out administrative work accurately and on time, including call reporting, regular business planning, and market intelligence feedback.

Experience And Qualifications
- Education: Further or Higher Education Qualification
- Skills: Commercial, Sales exposure, presentation skills a plus but not essential
- Technical Skills: Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Personal Attributes:
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and accountability, taking responsibility for seeing tasks through to completion.
- Customer-focused, recognizing the impact that high-quality contract administration has on both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborative and approachable
- Open to learning, sharing knowledge, and finding innovative solutions for customers and colleagues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
