Job Title: Associate Town Planner

Location: Cornwell

A respected and growing planning consultancy is seeking an experienced Associate Town Planner to join their Cornwall office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Chartered Planner to lead projects, manage a diverse portfolio of work, and play a key role in developing client relationships and business growth. The consultancy is well known for providing clear, realistic advice and a personalised service across the residential, commercial, leisure, energy, and heritage sectors. Clients range from national developers to private individuals.

Role Overview

As an Associate, you will be responsible for managing planning projects from start to finish, preparing planning appraisals, applications and appeals, and providing expert advice to clients. You will mentor junior staff, represent clients at committees and appeals, and help drive the continued success of the business.

Requirements

  • Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI)
  • Strong and varied planning experience
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of development and consultancy work
  • Full driving licence (exceptions considered)
