About the Role

This Associate role is focused on operational finance activities within a Wealth management business.

You will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day tracking of income across Azets Wealth Management. Working closely with advisers, operational colleagues, and management accounts, the role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely recording of income received into the business, as well as racking of client debtors and purchase invoices.

The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for colleagues and external providers, help with finance operations and contribute to the smooth running of the wider team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, numbers- and detail-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to build a long-term career within a growing and ambitious wealth management business.

Main Skills

Financial and Transaction Processing

  • Transaction Logging: Logging and tracking financial transactions accurately in relevant systems.
  • Fee and Commission Support: Assisting with the logging of fees and commissions in our CRM system.
  • Reconciliation: Supporting the reconciliation of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintaining a log of bank receipts and how income is split between different category types.

Technical Excellence

  • Clears review queries with reduced assistance and with thought and attention to detail.
  • Ability to use key performance software independently with minimal support (Intelliflo, Microsoft Office, Azets Reach, People XD).
  • Involved in less complex compliance, beginning to take more responsibility for sections of the work.
  • Continues to develop sector-specific professional knowledge.
  • Increased awareness of upcoming and existing changes in relevant legislation and standards applicable to role.
  • Able to spot issues/areas of possible contention or increased risk early in the process and escalate to senior colleagues.
  • Reduce recurrence of similar or same review points.
  • Able to spot where previous solutions and experience can be applied.

  • Data Entry Accuracy: Ensuring high levels of accuracy in data entry and document processing.
  • Digital Filing: Managing digital filing systems and ensuring all documents are stored securely and can be easily accessed.
