Role Overview
The Associate will work as part of a collaborative legal team, supporting partners and senior lawyers on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters. Daily responsibilities include:
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents
- Conducting legal research
- Preparing case summaries
- Assisting with transaction and case management
- Liaising with clients and counterparties
- Attending meetings and hearings as required
- Coordinating with international offices and external stakeholders

The Associate will help ensure that all work complies with applicable regulations and internal quality standards, while contributing to business development initiatives such as preparing client alerts or presentations.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with a mix of in-office and work-from-home arrangements.
Qualifications
- Solid legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex legislation, case law, and regulatory materials.
- Strong drafting and reviewing capabilities for contracts, pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Effective client communication and relationship management skills, including clear written and verbal communication.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple matters, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate files and records.
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment and coordinate with international offices and external professional advisers.
- Qualified solicitor (or equivalent legal qualification), with training or experience in commercial, corporate, or dispute resolution work.
- Professional fluency in English; proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is an advantage for cross-border matters.
- High ethical standards, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous professional development.
