Location: United Kingdom (Reitval Limited)
Reports to: Head of M&A / M&A Director
Type: Full-time, permanent

About Us

Reitval Limited is the UK subsidiary of Selenium Database, the world’s first universal real estate valuation platform, delivering instant, data-driven valuations across commercial, retail, industrial, residential, and vacant land properties. As we establish our presence in the UK market, we are building out our in-house M&A capability to support a strategy of acquiring competitors and vertically integrating across the real estate valuation value chain.

The Role

We are looking for an M&A Associate to join our in-house M&A team at a pivotal stage of growth. You will play a central role in supporting our UK market entry — helping to secure financing for the business, and executing on a pipeline of acquisitions of competitors and complementary businesses as part of our vertical integration strategy. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to move from a transaction-execution environment into a strategic, in-house seat where they can help shape the direction of the business itself.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the M&A team in raising finance to fund the company’s entry into the UK market, including preparing materials for lenders and investors
  • Assist in identifying, evaluating, and executing acquisitions of competitor businesses as part of the company’s vertical integration strategy
  • Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and deal comparables to support acquisition and financing decisions
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to help identify and prioritise acquisition targets
  • Support due diligence workstreams (financial, commercial, legal, operational) and coordinate with external advisors
  • Assist in the preparation of investment committee papers, board presentations, and other transaction documentation
  • Help manage deal processes end-to-end, from initial screening through to closing and integration handover
  • Liaise with external parties including banks, investors, lawyers, and accountants throughout transaction processes
  • Support post-acquisition integration planning as newly acquired businesses are brought into the group

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
