Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

💰 Competitive, Tax-Free Compensation

One of the most significant financial advantages is the absence of personal income tax. Solicitors can expect salaries that are competitive with, or exceed, those in major onshore jurisdictions. For instance, a lawyer with 5-8 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) might earn around US$180,000 - US$250,000 tax-free, with potential for higher earnings based on experience and performance.

🌴 Enhanced Lifestyle and Work-Life Balance

The Cayman Islands offer a high quality of life, characterized by:

  • Climate and Recreation: Year-round warm weather, pristine beaches, and opportunities for water sports and outdoor activities.
  • Community: A diverse and welcoming expatriate community, with over 100 nationalities represented.
  • Work Environment: Short commutes, flexible office cultures, and generally lower billable hour requirements contribute to a better work-life balance compared to many major cities.

🏡 Family-Friendly Environment

Safety: One of the lowest crime rates globally.
