Public M&A & ECM Associate/Senior Associate (1-3+ PQE)
The Opportunity
A leading UK law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate lawyer with a strong background in Public M&A and Equity Capital Markets to join its growing specialist team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad mix of Public M&A, ECM and IPO transactions, while also gaining exposure to wider corporate and private M&A matters. The team acts on high-profile domestic and international transactions and is particularly active in the public company space.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have a minimum of 1 year's post-qualification experience.
- Be predominantly focused on Public M&A and ECM work, with at least 50% of current practice in these areas.
- Be comfortable undertaking broader corporate and private M&A matters where required.
- Demonstrate high-quality transactional experience and strong technical ability.
- Be ambitious and keen to play a visible role in a growing practice.

The team advises on:
- Public takeovers and mergers
- Equity Capital Markets transactions
- IPOs and secondary fundraisings
- Public company advisory work
- Cross-border and international transactions
The ECM practice is particularly active and advises on a broad range of transactions across the market, with significant issuer-side mandates.
