Our team
We are a global Finance Group with an enviable list of clients and transactions to our name. We regularly advise high profile clients, consisting of UK and global financial institutions, private equity houses, funds and corporates on complex domestic and cross-border transactions and are able to utilise our strong domestic and international network of specialists. The breadth and quality of work that we undertake sets us apart from many of our competitors. On the majority of transactions, we act opposite Magic Circle, Silver Circle and large U.S. firms. We are looking for candidates who are experienced in Real Estate Finance to join our growing and ambitious team We have one of the leading REF practices in the market, acting for many of the major domestic and international banks as well as alternative lenders and institutional borrowers, on major bilateral, syndicated and structured transactions, and in developing their products. We work closely with our Real Estate, Construction, Corporate, Tax and international teams, with a particular specialism in development financing. This comprehensive network combined with our international finance capability means we are able to advise clients on some of the most significant Real Estate Finance deals in the market.

Role and key responsibilities
The successful candidates will gain experience of working with a wide range of lender and borrower clients across a number of sectors and jurisdictions We believe that the variety and experience of work on offer is a positive differentiator. Team members of all levels are expected to be engaged in business development activities, including organising and attending larger set-piece marketing events as well as more ad hoc / opportunistic meetings. We are looking for candidates who have strong experience of LMA documentation and who want to work in a highly collaborative and non-hierarchical environment, and who are motivated by delivering a great service for our clients whilst helping to develop business and provide input on training, marketing, knowledge management and other non-transactional activities. Experience in the hospitality sector would be a distinct advantage, Food & Beverage, Hotels and Travel & Tourism being key client areas for this role, but we are open to other sector expertise as well At a Senior Associate/Principal Associate level we would be looking for experience and an interest in supervising and coaching more junior members of the team
We have 2 roles available and we are open to candidates being based in any of our regional offices outside of London. This includes Birmingham, Cardiff and Edinburgh, as well as our other regional offices.
