Residential Surveyor (AssocRICS / MRICS Pathway)

SRVO Valuations & Surveys
Competitive Base Salary + Performance Related Commission + Car Allowance + Benefits
Home Based (Portfolios Nationwide Available)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Residential Surveyor (AssocRICS or MRICS) to join our Survey and Professional Services team, delivering high-quality valuation and professional survey work for major UK lenders and private clients.

This home-based role offers centrally managed diaries and dedicated administrative support, allowing you to focus on inspections, report quality and professional judgement while maintaining a genuine work-life balance.

You'll undertake lender valuations, Red Book valuations for probate, taxation and matrimonial purposes and, where appropriate, Homebuyer Reports and Building Surveys, supported by realistic workloads that allow you to focus on quality rather than volume.

We believe exceptional surveying starts with quality, not volume. Our surveyors are supported with realistic workloads that prioritise accuracy, defensibility and professional standards.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

This role requires strong technical capability, sound judgement and disciplined compliance.

You Will

  • Undertake valuation and survey work in accordance with lender and RICS standards
  • Deliver accurate, robust reports within agreed SLAs
  • Follow specific lender guidance and Red Book requirements
  • Maintain CPD in line with RICS regulatory obligations
  • Keep up to date with market and regulatory developments
  • Adhere to Quality Assurance, Health & Safety and internal compliance procedures

You'll build trusted relationships with lenders and private clients through consistent technical excellence and professional service.

What Success Looks Like

You’ll be successful in this role if:

  • Your reports are technically sound and delivered within SLA
  • You apply strong professional judgement on every inspection
  • Lenders value your reliability and communication
  • You actively progress towards MRICS and ongoing CPD
  • You contribute positively to a collaborative technical team

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
