Join Our Team as a Commercial & Operational Assurance Auditor
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our Finance Office team. This is a varied role offering excellent career opportunities, job security, and the chance to be part of a growing team.

Rochester, Medway City Estate ME2NF
Reporting to
Finance Director
Hours
Monday - Friday / 08:00am - 17:00pm / 40 hour week with 1 hour unpaid lunch.
Salary Range
£40,000 - £50,000

Key Responsibilities
- Complete weekly audits of operational performance and labour utilisation.
- Analyse billable hours versus payable hours across approximately 300-400 employees.
- Review productivity, overtime, standby and resource deployment performance.
- Produce weekly management reports and performance dashboards.
- Identify discrepancies, compliance concerns and revenue recovery opportunities.
- Support managers in understanding and improving departmental performance.
- Conduct investigations into data anomalies and operational trends.
- Recommend process improvements and stronger operational controls.
- Deliver weekly reports to Senior stakeholders

Requirements
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to challenge constructively using evidence and data.
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- 3-5 years experience within operational analysis, business assurance, commercial reporting, compliance or audit functions.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Experience producing management reports and performance metrics.
- Exposure to operational, service delivery or contracting environments.
- Strong understanding of workforce planning, productivity or labour utilisation reporting.
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Power BI or equivalent reporting platforms
