In Assurance at EY, we empower you to thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment. As a key player in our assurance practice, you'll engage with diverse clients, providing critical insights that drive their success. We offer a wealth of career opportunities, from hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies to tailored professional development programs. Our culture fosters collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to excellence, ensuring that every team member feels valued and inspired to reach their full potential. Discover your future with us and be part of a team that makes a difference!

As an Audit Data Strategist in our Data & Intelligence Delivery team, you will combine analytical thinking, business understanding and emerging technologies to help provide confidence in the numbers, improve the audit experience, and provide new perspectives to stakeholders through data.

This role is ideal for people who enjoy solving complex problems, working with data and using technology to understand how organisations operate. This client-facing role combines support for a portfolio of audit engagements with designing, developing and sharing data-driven solutions. You'll work closely with audit teams and clients to understand challenges, ask better questions, build trusted relationships, shape approaches, communicate insights and influence decisions that support high-quality audits.

You will work alongside experienced Audit Data Strategists, building your audit, technology and client delivery experience while taking on increasing responsibility and gaining exposure to audit tenders.

We value the benefits of connected working, and you'll typically spend at least two days each week in an EY office or at a client site, learning from colleagues, building relationships and contributing to a collaborative team culture.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
