At Pullman Rail we value diversity. It makes us stronger, helps us understand our customers better, make better decisions and be more innovative. Everyone’s different and has their own perspective, so we’re building a diverse team that mirrors the communities we serve. Through this, we’re determined to be one of Wales' leading inclusive employers.

Who we are

Pullman Rail is a specialist engineering company supporting the UK rail industry through vehicle maintenance, refurbishment, overhaul and component repair. Our teams work together to deliver high-quality solutions that keep the rail network moving.

The role

We are seeking an Assurance Manager to join our Engineering team.

The Assurance Manager will provide independent engineering assurance that Pullman Rail consistently delivers safe, compliant and high-quality engineering outputs. Leading our Quality, Competence and Inspection functions, you will ensure robust governance, effective assurance processes and continual improvement across our engineering operations.

Working closely with Engineering, Production and Support Functions, you will drive compliance with customer, regulatory and company requirements, while promoting a culture of quality, competence and operational excellence.

This is a key leadership role within a safety-critical engineering environment, providing independent challenge and assurance to ensure our engineering activities meet the highest standards of safety, quality and performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
