Role Overview
Our client, a global insurance organisation, is seeking an experienced Ataccama ONE Implementation Consultant to lead and deliver the technical rollout of Ataccama ONE across their enterprise data landscape. This is a contract position delivered through our recruitment agency, working closely with Data Governance, Engineering, and Architecture teams to ensure successful deployment and adoption of the Ataccama platform.
You will be responsible for the technical configuration, integration, and implementation of Ataccama ONE, ensuring the solution supports regulatory, operational, and data-quality objectives within a highly regulated insurance environment.
Key Responsibilities
Ataccama ONE Technical Delivery
- Configure, deploy, and optimise Ataccama ONE modules: Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Catalog, Lineage, and MDM.
- Build DQ rules, profiling jobs, metadata ingestion pipelines, lineage connectors, and workflow automation.
- Integrate Ataccama with enterprise data platforms (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, SQL, on-prem systems).
- Troubleshoot technical issues, performance challenges, and integration complexities.

Architecture & Implementation
- Design and document Ataccama ONE architecture, deployment patterns, and integration points.
- Support environment setup, CI/CD deployment, configuration management, and platform optimisation.
- Align Ataccama implementation with regulatory requirements relevant to insurance (GDPR, Solvency II, PRA/FCA standards).
Stakeholder Engagement & Adoption
- Work with Data Governance, Data Quality, Engineering, and Compliance teams to embed Ataccama into business processes.
- Run workshops, demos, and training sessions for data stewards and technical users.
- Translate business requirements into technical configurations and platform capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience implementing Ataccama ONE in a production environment (minimum one full implementation).
- Strong technical understanding of Ataccama modules: DQ, Metadata, Catalog, Lineage, MDM.
- Experience integrating Ataccama with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred) and enterprise data warehouses.
- Solid knowledge of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and MDM principles.
- Ability to work with engineering teams on APIs, connectors, ETL/ELT pipelines, and deployment patterns.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries.
- Knowledge of Collibra, Informatica, Atlan, or other governance tools.
- Experience with Python, SQL, or Java for custom integrations.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (GDPR, Solvency II, BCBS 239).
