Summary:

The Cprime Solutions Architect - Atlassian works at the intersection of customers, sales, and delivery to shape high-quality Atlassian solutions and ensure they can be delivered successfully.

The role is responsible for understanding customer business and technical requirements, translating those requirements into solution architectures and implementation approaches, and producing credible solution estimates with clear assumptions, dependencies, and scope boundaries.

The Solutions Architect plays a key role throughout the pre-sales lifecycle, including customer discovery, solution workshops, demonstrations and proof of concepts, RFP responses, estimation, and Statements of Work.

Success requires strong Atlassian technical knowledge alongside commercial judgement, client-facing credibility, and a practical understanding of implementation risk.

How this role works with the Atlassian Growth team:

This role will operate as a close technical partner to the Atlassian Growth and Sales teams, supporting opportunities from early customer conversations through to a delivery-ready Statement of Work.

We are looking for someone who can combine deep Atlassian expertise with strong commercial judgement: helping customers clarify what they need, shaping credible solutions, identifying follow-on opportunities, estimating work responsibly, and ensuring that what is sold can be delivered successfully.

Outcomes sought:

  • Lead technical discovery with customers, understanding business objectives, current-state architecture, requirements, constraints, and dependencies
  • Translate customer requirements into appropriate Atlassian solution architectures and implementation approaches
  • Produce high-quality estimates for implementation work, including fixed-price engagements, with clear assumptions, exclusions, dependencies, and scope boundaries
  • Identify technical, delivery, and commercial risks early enough for them to be addressed before commitments are made
  • Support sales opportunities through customer workshops, demonstrations, proof of concepts, RFP/RFI responses, and Statements of Work
  • Build credibility and trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, explaining both what is possible with Atlassian and the practical implications of different solution choices
  • Work collaboratively with sales and delivery teams to ensure that solutions sold can be delivered successfully, and that handover from pre-sales into implementation is effective
  • Maintain strong, current knowledge of Atlassian products, platform capabilities, ecosystem developments, and Marketplace applications
  • Understand emerging Atlassian capabilities and product direction and assess where they create meaningful opportunities or implementation considerations for customers
  • Provide technical leadership across solutions involving Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and the wider Atlassian platform, with appropriate knowledge of areas such as Rovo, Jira Align, Bitbucket, and relevant Marketplace applications
  • Advise customers on architecture, configuration, integration, migration, security, governance, and operating model considerations
  • Design solutions that make appropriate use of standard Atlassian capability while avoiding unnecessary customisation and downstream technical debt
  • Remain sufficiently hands-on to validate solution approaches, support demonstrations and proof of concepts, and provide technical guidance during implementation
  • Work effectively with incomplete information, knowing when there is sufficient clarity to produce a responsible estimate and when further discovery is required
  • Help shape opportunities so that assessments, discovery engagements, and initial implementations create a clear path to appropriate follow-on work where there is clear customer value.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
