Job title: Atlassian Technical Engineer
Rate: £440 per day
Contract: 6 months
Location: Telford/hybrid (2 days onsite per week)
Candidates must be willing and eligible to go through SC security clearance for this role
I'm currently recruiting for Capgemini for an experienced Atlassian Technical Engineer to join a high-profile technology environment and take ownership of the configuration, optimisation, migration, and technical delivery of Atlassian solutions.
If Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Jira Service Management are your bread and butter, this could be a great opportunity to get involved in a technically challenging contract.

Responsibilities:
- Configuring, maintaining, and optimising Atlassian platforms
- Delivering Jira & Confluence upgrades, migrations, and consolidations
- Performing technical assessments and health checks
- Administering Jira and Confluence instances
- Supporting Bitbucket and Bamboo
- Configuring Jira Service Management, including queues, SLAs, and automation
- Developing integrations using APIs and scripting
- Automating application upgrades and testing through CI/CD tooling
- Working directly with stakeholders and customers to deliver effective Atlassian solutions
Experience Required:

- 3-5+ years' experience delivering Atlassian solutions
- Strong hands-on experience with Jira & Confluence
- Proven experience with migrations, upgrades, and consolidations
- Atlassian technical migration accreditation/certification
- Experience administering Bitbucket and Bamboo
- Strong Jira Service Management configuration experience
- API and scripting knowledge
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and ITIL
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
