Hours of work: 37 per week.
Working pattern: Full-time, term-time only (working for 42 weeks per year plus 6.51 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service).
As the position is term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.

Role Overview
Meridian Community Primary School & Nursery is seeking an enthusiastic, organised, and highly motivated Attendance & Admissions Officer to join our friendly and dedicated administration team.
This is a varied and rewarding role that sits at the heart of school operations, supporting pupil attendance, admissions, safeguarding administration, parent communication, and front-of-house reception services. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our systems and processes run efficiently while providing a welcoming and professional service to pupils, families, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and monitor pupil attendance across the school and nursery.
- Analyse attendance data and prepare reports.
- Manage attendance communications with parents.
- Administer school and nursery admissions processes.
- Support Reception & Nursery intake arrangements and pupil transition processes.
- Assist with Arbor management, pupil reporting, and parent consultation administration.
- Support safeguarding processes, including DBS administration, Single Central Record updates, and CPOMS staff changes.
- Manage office emails and communications.
- Assist with website updates, newsletters, event information, and marketing activities.
- Provide reception cover, welcoming visitors, handling telephone enquiries, and managing deliveries.
- Act as an Arbor Champion supporting parent and pupil data management.

- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Effective communication with a wide range of people.

- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

Previous experience within a school environment, knowledge of Arbor or CPOMS, and experience of attendance or admissions administration would be advantageous.
