Attendance Officer

We are a 1.5 form entry school with 45 children per year group.
We are seeking to appoint an attendance officer who is committed, highly motivated, reliable, and hard-working to join a friendly and established team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about improving student success through excellent attendance and engagement.
Purpose of the Role
- To ensure student attendance, having an innovative approach to improving and sustaining attendance throughout school
- Monitor and report on whole-school attendance data, analysing data and trends to identify key areas of concern
- To work closely with pupils, staff, parents, and carers to reduce levels of absence, and act appropriately when persistent absence becomes a safeguarding issue
- Craft individualized attendance plans and provide support as appropriate
- To identify any safeguarding issue in line with the school procedures

- This is a permanent part-time position to work 39 weeks per year
- 23 hours per week Monday - Friday 8-12pm & 3 hours
