Queen Elizabeth’s School is recruiting for an Attendance Officer to join our school.

Actual Salary £23,665 - £26,061 per annum (Grade 7, SCP 8 - SCP 14)

This job is Full Time 37 hours per week, 40 working weeks per year (and Term Time plus one additional week to be worked during the school holidays)

It is offered on a Permanent basis

Approximate start date October 2026 or as soon as possible

We are looking for someone who will work alongside our pastoral and reception teams to record student attendance data to promote and maintain excellent attendance, reduce levels of absence and work with children and families to help them achieve high levels of attendance.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

  • Is motivated to support the raising of student aspirations
  • Has a proactive and empathetic approach to engaging with students and families to promote positive school attendance

  • Previous experience in a similar role or of working in an educational environment
  • Strong administrative and data entry skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Demonstrable IT skills

Working days are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm - this may be subject to change according to business needs.
