Roding Valley High School - Part of Chelmsford Learning Partnership
Start Date: Autumn Term 2026
Salary: Scale 7 - £34,198 - £37,660 (SCP 19 –24) 37 hours per week | Term time + INSET days + 1 week worked during school closure periods

As an Attendance Officer, you will be crucial in implementing whole-school strategies designed to improve attendance levels and actively reduce persistent absence. This role blends operational duties - such as conducting home visits and late gate patrols - with essential administrative support, requiring resilient engagement with students and parents to address attendance barriers.
