King Simmons, P.C., Needs a Lawyer in Birmingham

We are an Alabama law firm with offices in Birmingham and Daphne, serving people throughout the entire state who have had loved ones who died in accidents, and serving people who have been injured in job accidents or accidents generally, including truck wrecks, car wrecks, industrial accidents, slip-and-fall, or other events for which others are responsible. We also handle sexual harassment claims and cases for those fired for having claimed workers’ compensation benefits. Our lawyers speak at seminars, publish law-related articles, and give back to the legal community, as well as engaging in charitable work.

The Birmingham office needs a lawyer who is reliable, motivated, and a self-starting team player. Previous litigation experience is welcome but not required. This is an excellent opportunity to gain or sharpen your litigation skills working with some of Alabama’s top peer-rated lawyers. You will be in court soon, in depositions soon, and interacting with clients immediately; we do not have any positions for those looking for research jobs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Benefits

We offer a salary, guaranteed and very generous bonus program based on work you bring in from your sources, health and dental insurance, matching 401k program, paid vacation and holidays and community service days, and discretionary performance bonuses. Other firms probably offer higher salaries; they likely do not offer the same bonus structure we do.

We encourage diversity and inclusion and try to provide a work environment that supports individual accomplishment and growth. We have excellent case management software, and a staff that is outstanding in serving our clients and making the lawyers look better than they probably are.
