About the Role
Every Aston Martin vehicle is put through extensive testing before it reaches our customers. Behind that process is a team of engineers who ensure our vehicles deliver the performance, quality and driving experience expected of the brand.
We're looking for an experienced engineer to join our Durability & Reliability team as a Attribute Test Engineer - FEU. This is an opportunity for an internal colleague to broaden their experience within Vehicle Engineering, working at the point where real-world vehicle usage, customer expectations and engineering excellence come together.
Responsibilities
As an Attribute Test Engineer - FEU, you'll play a key role in delivering vehicle durability, reliability and Customer Acceptance Testing, activities across future Aston Martin programmes. Working closely with engineering teams across the business, you'll help identify, investigate and resolve issues, ensuring lessons learned from real-world testing are translated into vehicle improvements.
This role combines hands-on vehicle evaluation, technical analysis and stakeholder collaboration. You'll be responsible for planning and executing vehicle test activities, monitoring vehicle performance, reviewing system behaviour and supporting issue resolution across both hardware and software systems. You'll also act as a vital link between testing teams and engineering functions, helping to ensure our vehicles meet the standards our customers expect.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
