5dB Records – London (On-Site)
Audience Development Manager
The Role:
5dB Records is looking for an Audience Development Manager to grow and deepen audiences across our artist roster. This is a hands-on role at the center of our release campaigns. You’ll work closely with artists, management, A&R, PR, and creative teams to develop audience strategies that build audiences and create momentum around releases. You’ll also lend support to how 5dB itself shows up online, including contributing to our own social channels, digital voice, and brand content when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver audience growth strategies for album, EP, and single releases across the 5dB roster.
- Generate creative content ideas and campaign concepts for releases, developing platform-specific rollout plans across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Create and manage social content calendars across artist accounts.
- Brief and coordinate on-site video and photography teams, ensuring creative briefs are clear, timely, and aligned with campaign strategy, using Trello to manage delivery.
- Edit and repurpose long-form content into short-form clips, Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts for artist and 5dB channels.
- Write and oversee copy across social platforms, including captions and YouTube descriptions, as well as contributing to artist mailing lists where required.
- Manage day-to-day community engagement across artist accounts, including comments, DMs, and audience interaction.
- Track and report on audience performance across the artist roster, identifying over- and under-performing content and feeding insights back into campaign strategy.
- Use audience and platform data to continually refine content, improve engagement, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Monitor emerging social trends, formats, platforms, and online music culture, bringing relevant ideas into campaigns.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
