About The Role
As the Audience, Insight and Evaluation Lead, you will help ensure that TPR’s communications are shaped by evidence, insight and a clear understanding of audience behaviour.
Working at the centre of TPR’s developing strategic planning function, you will bring together research, data and insight from across the organisation to support audience-led planning, communications activity and organisational priorities.
Your work will help TPR focus on the issues that matter most for pensions reform and members’ interests, contributing to communications that support meaningful behaviour change among trustees, administrators, employers and those who influence them.
You will work closely with colleagues across Evidence, Research and Analysis, Digital and Data, and Marketing & Engagement to develop insight, apply behavioural frameworks, commission research and evaluate the impact of communications activity. The role also involves supporting the design and testing of behavioural interventions, translating complex evidence into practical recommendations, and ensuring learning is used to improve future planning and delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
