Job Description

Programme Eligibility

To join one of our 12-month Internships you must meet one of the following criteria:

  • You’re currently an undergraduate studying at University and returning to full-time education in Autumn 2028
  • You’re looking to gain work experience after completing your A-Levels, an equivalent course, or an Apprenticeship

Additionally, you must also:

  • Be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from Monday 5th July 2027 – Friday 21st July 2028
  • Be able to work in NBCUniversal's Central London office on-site four days per week

What will I be doing?

You’ll join a team who are passionate about media and have curious minds when it comes to data. The team all bring different strengths and experiences to the table, and strive to build an open, inclusive culture where everyone can bring their full selves to work, while achieving their career goals.

As an Audience Insights & Analytics Intern, you will assist the content sales business of NBCU. Interns are a crucial part of the team and work on a wide variety of important projects, such as performance analysis of TV/Film content, generation of insights that feed directly into strategic business decisions, and support for the sales of major series and movies to broadcasters and digital platforms. This internship provides a great opportunity to learn about the media business and analytical techniques, as well as make a real difference to the success of the company.

What will I learn from this opportunity?

  • Analyse large and complex sets of data: Learn to process various datasets from TV ratings to streamers viewership.
  • Transform data into valuable business insights: Ability to distill large datasets into actionable insights that will help stakeholders make better business decisions.
  • Media industry knowledge: Get in-depth industry knowledge through analysis of content and industry trends.

Qualifications

What do I need to bring to the role?

  • Passion and knowledge for media, particularly TV and/or Film.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and analyzing data.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Able to communicate findings and discuss data.
  • Eager to work in a company environment and keen to understand the role of research.
