Sound Designer
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50 - $90/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Review and assess video sessions focusing on the audio component.
- Edit and annotate audio tracks for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Restore audio quality by removing unwanted noise and distortion.
- Provide detailed feedback and annotations on specific sounds or anomalies.
- Collaborate with project leads to confirm annotation standards.
- Maintain meticulous records of edits, annotations, and restoration activities.

Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in sound design, sound editing, and audio restoration techniques.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record in identifying subtle audio nuances.
- Familiarity with a variety of digital audio workstations and editing tools.
- Experience working with real-world, non-music audio sources is a strong plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting observations and collaborating remotely.
