We are partnered with a growing product development business in Newbury, Berkshire, designing and developing innovative electronic products for customers across a range of industries.

As part of their continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Audio Electronics Engineer to join their engineering team, working across the full product development lifecycle from initial concept and design through to prototyping, testing and production.

About the Role

In this Audio Electronics Engineer role, you will:

  • Design and develop analogue and digital electronics, with a focus on audio applications
  • Take designs through schematic capture, PCB development, prototyping and testing
  • Carry out hardware debugging, fault finding and performance analysis
  • Work closely with other engineers to develop, test and improve products through to production

Requirements

The ideal Audio Electronics Engineer will have:

  • Commercial, hands-on experience in electronics product development
  • Proven experience designing audio electronics, ideally including analogue signal paths, amplifiers, codecs or ADCs and DACs
  • Strong schematic and PCB design skills using Altium or similar
  • Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers and digital communication interfaces
