Audio Engineers, Sound Editors & Audio Quality Specialists. Remote AI Project
We are seeking experienced Audio Engineers, Sound Editors, Audio Producers, Sound Designers, and Audio Quality Professionals to contribute to a project focused on reviewing and annotating robotic video and audio data.
What You’ll Do
- Review and annotate audio recordings and robotic video sessions according to provided guidelines.
- Identify common audio problems such as background noise, clipping, distortion, echo, hum, interference, and dropouts.
- Assess overall audio quality, intelligibility, clarity, consistency, and synchronization.
- Categorize audio issues accurately using predefined annotation labels.
- Document observations with clear notes and concise technical feedback.
- Review audio alongside video when necessary to understand events and synchronization.
- Apply annotation guidelines consistently across assigned tasks.
- Flag unusual, unclear, or ambiguous audio events for additional review.
- Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail across repetitive review tasks.
- Communicate findings clearly with project coordinators and reviewers.

Relevant Audio Experience
Strong candidates may have experience with recording, editing, mixing, mastering, sound design, dialogue editing, noise reduction, restoration, audio quality control, or media review.
Experience critically listening to recordings and identifying subtle audio problems is especially valuable.
Requirements
- Professional or academic experience in audio engineering, audio production, sound editing, sound design, recording, or a closely related field.
- Good understanding of audio quality and common recording issues.
- Familiarity with audio editing or production software.
- Strong critical listening skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow structured annotation and grading guidelines consistently.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Comfortable reviewing audio and video content for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Production, Music Technology, Media Production, or a related field.
- Professional audio editing, recording, mixing, mastering, or sound design experience.
- Experience with audio QA, media quality control, or post-production review.
- Experience identifying technical recording problems or performing audio restoration.
- Experience with speech, dialogue, podcast, broadcast, music, or audiovisual content review.
- Experience with audio annotation, timestamping, sound classification, or media labeling is helpful but not required.
