Take Your Medicine
Take Your Medicine is a creative sound studio and music label based in London. We write and produce original music, sound design and mixes for global brand campaigns as well as running our own label imprint.
As part of Psyop Media Group, we support audio production for a global network of design & animation studios, including our sister company Golden Wolf. We’re a small, close-knit team which means plenty of opportunity to get involved across all areas of running the studio.
The Role
We are looking for a Producer to manage our projects end-to-end and keep the studio commercially sharp.
You will be the person responsible for the day-to-day running of our projects, from the brief landing to final delivery and reconciliation. Liaising with our close partners and clients, you will work closely with our Creative Director and our external talent.
A typical week will include:
- Scheduling: building and protecting the schedule, tracking actual time against estimates and keeping a clear read on studio capacity
- Client communication: being the calm, trusted point of contact for clients, agency partners and our sister companies – chasing assets, managing timings and feedback rounds, and delivering postings and decks on time
- Asset and file management: making sure everyone is always working with the right, latest materials, with systems that mean nothing gets lost
- Bidding and budget tracking: preparing estimates using our rate card, modelling scope changes and overages, tracking spend and reconciling delivered jobs. Once established, you’ll be in the room when we negotiate terms
- Licensing and sourcing: managing stock music licensing within budget, keeping usage and rights clean, working with our VO and external partners and organising recording sessions
- Label support: helping our releases run smoothly from the production side, working with our marketing team on timelines, assets and logistics

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
