ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced, talented and motivated Audio Technician with either a FOH or Monitors bias, to join our world-class team. Each member of our audio team has a bias – Systems, FOH or Monitors, complementing each other’s skillsets and operating each position in rotation to ensure resilience.
As an Audio Technician you will be a key player in the audio department of one of the most technically advanced and high-profile live productions in the world, contributing to keeping our concert sounding as outstanding as possible.
Reporting to the Head of Audio, you will work with the band, live vocalists and all departments playing a key role in ensuring each performance runs smoothly and an overall upkeep of the audio show quality and related equipment. You will have excellent communication skills, technical confidence, and the ability to work and communicate calmly under pressure.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintain clear, organised documentation of console, system and network settings and any changes to programming or operating procedures.
- Collaborate closely with the audio designer and system engineers to replicate the concert’s signature style.
- Depending on bias: Operate FOH console, monitors console or systems during performances, rehearsals and special events, balancing live vocals, instruments, playback, and effects.
- Maintain consistency and quality across all performances, including system tuning, console recall, and performance archiving.
- Assist with all audio show plots as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve audio issues efficiently during rehearsals and live shows.
- With the Head of Audio and Technical Director, liaise with the audio design team, as required to ensure show quality is upheld.
- Support the continuous improvement of audio workflows and standards.
- On occasion, deputise in the absence of the Head of Audio at meetings etc.
- Any other duties as reasonably expected of an Audio Technician for a world-class entertainment production.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
