The Role
London Business School are looking for an experienced AV Event Support Engineer to provide specialist audio-visual support for events across the School.
This is a campus-based role and a fantastic opportunity for a customer-focused AV professional to play a central part in delivering high-quality event experiences across a diverse and dynamic environment.
You will provide specialist audio-visual support for events across London Business School, acting as the single point of contact for event organisers from planning through to delivery.
You will coordinate and deliver high-quality AV solutions for a wide range of events, including:
- conferences
- executive education
- public events
- internal meetings
Working closely with event organisers, internal teams and external suppliers where required, you will ensure events are supported professionally, reliably and to a consistently high standard.
Main Responsibilities
- Act as the main AV point of contact for event organisers from planning through to delivery.
- Provide specialist AV support for events across the School.
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality AV solutions for a wide range of event formats.
- Support live events confidently and professionally, including troubleshooting under pressure.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure seamless delivery.
- Ensure events are delivered reliably and to a consistently high standard.
- Manage multiple event requirements and competing priorities effectively.
- Use relevant software and systems to extract, analyse and report on event-related data where required.

The AV Support coverage requirements will now extend across both Park Road and Sammy Ofer from 07:30 to 19:30, seven days a week. To support this, the team will work on a shift pattern consisting of either an early or late shift:
- Early: 07:30 – 15:30
- Late: 11:30 – 19:30
Two days off per week
As a result, this will include some unsociable hours, along with one or two weekends per month for each Support Engineer.
