Audio Visual Teams Specialist

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands, UK
Contract: Inside IR35
Rate: £200 to £250 per day

We are looking for an experienced AV and Microsoft Teams Rooms Specialist to support and maintain Microsoft Teams Rooms and video conferencing systems across a global enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows and Android.
  • Manage and maintain video conferencing and AV equipment.
  • Troubleshoot audio, video, connectivity, and AV signal issues.
  • Work with Teams Admin Centre, Teams policies, and meeting configurations.
  • Support AV equipment from vendors such as Crestron, Shure, Extron, and Sennheiser.
  • Test firmware updates, security patches, and configuration changes before production rollout.
  • Support a dedicated video testing lab in Bournville.
  • Work with global teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage incidents and service requests using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
  • Follow ITIL processes and support continuous service improvement.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms.
  • Experience with AV and video conferencing systems.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Teams Administration.
  • Understanding of VoIP, SIP, and Unified Communications.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across AV, hardware, software, and network environments.
  • Experience with AV technologies and equipment.
  • ServiceNow or similar ITSM experience.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
