🎥 AV Technician

💷 Salary: £38,500 per annum

The Graduate Project is working with a professional organisation in the City of London to recruit an AV Technician on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous first-line IT support experience who enjoys providing hands-on AV and technical support in a busy office environment. You will play an important role in ensuring meetings, presentations and events run smoothly, while supporting colleagues with day-to-day technical issues.
💼 The role
- Provide first-line IT and AV support to colleagues across the organisation
- Set up, test and troubleshoot AV equipment for meetings, presentations, training sessions and events
- Support video conferencing and meeting-room technology, including Microsoft Teams
- Diagnose and resolve issues with projectors, screens, microphones, speakers, cameras and other AV equipment
- Assist users with hardware, software, connectivity and general IT queries
- Log, manage and resolve support tickets within agreed service levels
- Maintain AV and IT equipment, including recording faults, repairs and asset information
- Liaise with external suppliers where specialist support or repairs are required
- Deliver a professional and customer-focused support service to users at all levels

- Previous experience in an AV Technician, AV Support or IT Support position
- Proven first-line support experience is essential
- Confident troubleshooting AV equipment and meeting-room technology
- Experience supporting Microsoft Teams or similar video conferencing platforms
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Highly organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities
- Comfortable working independently in a fully office-based role
- Available to start immediately or at short notice
