37.5 hrs per week

The Audiology Department at the James Paget University Hospital offers a comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative service for both adults and children. We provide a Hearing Therapy service, balance service, support to ENT and hospital based NHSP. We are an established training site and encourage continuing professional development. We also participate in National research programs. Our department offers excellent facilities and a positive working environment. You will be joining us at an exciting time as we expand our service into the local Community Diagnostic Centre and are involved with the planning the new hospital which is due to open early in the 2030s.

We are searching for a forward-looking and enthusiastic person to join us. You will be expected to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team and, as such, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Your duties will be mainly adult diagnostic and rehabilitation and support for ENT which will include some Paediatric testing. You will also be expected to contribute to the training of apprentices and junior staff. You will hold a BSc in Audiology or nationally recognised qualification in Audiology. You will be state registered or working towards registration. Applications from newly qualified Audiologists would be welcome as full support will be given.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
