Audit & Accounts Semi Senior
TPF Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well established and growing accountancy practice in Swanley who are looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practice professional looking to take the next step in their career. You will work with a varied portfolio of clients, gaining exposure across accounts, audit, tax and management accounts, whilst receiving ongoing support and development.
The Role
As an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior, you will be responsible for a varied range of work, including:
- Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparing management accounts using Xero, Sage and other accounting software
- Completing corporation tax computations and returns
- Supporting audit assignments where required
- Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries
- Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
- Coaching, leading and developing a team of trainees

Requirements
About You
The successful candidate will have experience working within an accountancy practice and a good understanding of accounts, audit and corporation tax.
You will ideally have:
- AAT qualification and be studying towards ACA or ACCA
- At least 3 years' experience within accountancy and audit
- Experience preparing statutory and management accounts
- Corporation tax experience
- Experience using accountancy software such as Xero, Sage, Iris, Digita or My Work Papers
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication and client relationship skills
