Your new role

Working with a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and not-for-profit organisations, you will gain hands-on experience across both audit and accounts assignments while developing your technical and client-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the planning and completion of audit assignments for a varied client base.
- Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
- Producing corporation tax computations and supporting schedules.
- Conducting audit fieldwork both on-site and remotely.
- Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries professionally.
- Supporting senior team members and mentoring junior staff where appropriate.
- Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
What you'll need to succeed
- ACA or ACCA studier (part-qualified or actively progressing through exams).
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment.
- Exposure to both audit and accounts preparation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Proactive approach and a genuine desire to progress within practice.
