Your new role

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified ACA or ACCA professional looking to develop their career within a firm that offers genuine progression, varied client exposure, and high-quality training. Working with a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and not-for-profit organisations, you will gain hands-on experience across both audit and accounts assignments while developing your technical and client-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the planning and completion of audit assignments for a varied client base.
  • Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
  • Producing corporation tax computations and supporting schedules.
  • Conducting audit fieldwork both on-site and remotely.
  • Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries professionally.
  • Supporting senior team members and mentoring junior staff where appropriate.
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.

What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA or ACCA studier (part-qualified or actively progressing through exams).
  • Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment.
  • Exposure to both audit and accounts preparation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach and a genuine desire to progress within practice.
