Audit & Accounts Senior
TPF Recruitment is recruiting for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join a relaxed, independent firm of accountants based in Tunbridge Wells.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a varied practice role with a strong focus on work life balance. The firm offers a relaxed working environment, an excellent benefits package and is happy to consider both full time and part time candidates.
As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you’ll primarily focus on accounts and tax work for owner managed businesses, with audit making up no more than 25% of your workload. This could suit someone who enjoys a mix of work and wants to maintain their audit experience alongside a broader accounts and tax role.

- Preparing year end accounts for owner managed businesses.
- Preparing corporation tax computations and supporting clients with tax compliance.
- Undertaking bookkeeping and VAT work where required.
- Supporting the planning and completion of audit assignments, representing up to 25% of your workload.
- Managing client relationships and responding to accounts and tax queries.
- Working closely with colleagues to manage deadlines and deliver an excellent service.
Requirements
To be considered for this Audit & Accounts Senior opportunity, you’ll have:
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice across accounts, tax and audit.
- A strong understanding of accounts preparation and tax compliance for owner managed businesses.
- The ability to manage your workload and meet deadlines.
- Confidence communicating with clients and building lasting relationships.
- A friendly, collaborative approach.

Benefits
- £45,000 to £55,000, depending on experience.
