Audit & Accounts Senior – Independent Accountancy Practice
Central London (Hybrid)
£40,000 - £50,000 DOE
Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a well-established and friendly 3-partner firm based in Central London in their search for an Audit & Accounts Senior to work directly with clients, representing the firm.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nearly qualified or qualified accountant looking to step into a senior level role across audit and accounts within a close-knit and collaborative environment. The role offers a 40% audit and 60% accounts splits alongside the opportunity to work with a varied portfolio acting as a direct point of contact.

- Assist on leading audits from planning through to completion
- Prepare statutory accounts, bookkeeping, and tax compliance work for a varied client portfolio
- Supporting junior staff on audits, providing mentoring and assisting in reviewing their work
- Act as one of the key points of contact for clients
- Represent the firm professionally across client engagements
Key Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified (Only advanced exams remaining)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within practice
- Strong experience across both audit and accounts with experience in leading audits
- Confident managing client relationships
- Excellent communication skills with a professional and personable approach
- Experience with IRIS software beneficial
