Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts / Audit Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio while developing strong client relationships and supporting the continued growth of the practice.

Description
- Manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, companies, charities, and other clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive support and advice.
- Review statutory accounts prepared under relevant UK accounting frameworks.
- Manage and review corporation tax returns and personal tax returns.
- Plan, manage, and review audit assignments (where applicable).
- Monitor portfolio profitability, work-in-progress, and billing.
- Ensure assignments are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members.
- Identify opportunities to provide additional value-added services to clients.
- Maintain high technical and professional standards in line with regulatory requirements.

Profile
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
- Approximately 4-5 years' post-qualification experience.
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients within an accountancy practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK accounts and tax compliance.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Previous responsibility for portfolio management and fee recovery.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience.
